1. Who we are. bonojuris.com is operated by Bono Juris, a sole proprietorship of Niten Chandra, A 55, Sector 56, NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh 201301, India. Email: welcome@bonojuris.com.
2. What we sell. Ebook editions, in PDF, of books published by Bono Juris, each volume sold separately: Competition Law and Policy (Volume I, The Economics of Competition, and Volume II, The Law of Competition) and Administrative Law (Volume I, Parts I–IV, Chapters 1–15, and Volume II, Parts V–VII, Chapters 16–28), by Niten Chandra and Shalini Chandra; and Bihar: In the Crucible of Time, 1800–2026, in one volume, by Niten Chandra.
3. Prices. Prices are in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes. The list price of each volume of Competition Law and Policy is ₹2,000, of each volume of Administrative Law ₹3,000, and of Bihar: In the Crucible of Time ₹1,000. Until 19 February 2027 each volume is offered at a launch price: ₹200 for Competition Law and Policy, ₹300 for Administrative Law and ₹100 for Bihar: In the Crucible of Time. From 20 February 2027 the list price applies. The price charged is the one shown at checkout.
4. Payment. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your bank or UPI statement will show the payee as Niten Chandra, proprietor of Bono Juris. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
5. Licence. On payment you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, read and print the ebook for your own study and reference. You may not copy, share, upload, resell or distribute the file or any substantial part of it. Every page of the ebook states that it is licensed for the purchaser’s personal use only. Copyright in each book belongs to its authors; all rights are reserved.
6. Not legal advice. The books are written for study and reference. They are not legal advice and create no relationship between the authors and any reader. The authors do not accept enquiries for legal services through this website.
7. Liability. Care has been taken to state the law and the record accurately. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the price paid for it.
8. Law and disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Without affecting any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, have jurisdiction.
Privacy Policy
What we collect. Razorpay collects your name, email address and phone number to process your payment and shares the payment record with us. We also keep basic site analytics. Free samples are downloaded without giving any details.
Why. To deliver the ebook, to send the receipt, to answer your messages, and to keep the records the law requires. We do not sell or rent your data.
Who else processes it. Razorpay (payments), Hostinger (hosting and email) and, if we advertise, Meta (advertising measurement through the Meta Pixel). Each processes data under its own terms.
Cookies. The site uses cookies needed for checkout and, with your consent, cookies for analytics and advertising measurement.
How long. Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask to see, correct or erase your personal data, and withdraw consent. Write to welcome@bonojuris.com.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Because an ebook is delivered instantly and cannot be returned, orders cannot be cancelled once the download page has been shown, and downloaded ebooks are not refundable, except as below.
We refund the full amount if you were charged twice for the same order; if you could not download the ebook and we could not deliver it within three working days of your email to us; or if the file is defective and we cannot send a working copy.
Write to welcome@bonojuris.com with your Razorpay payment ID. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method within 7 working days; your bank may take a few more days to show the credit.
Delivery Policy
There is no physical shipping and nothing is sent by email. After a successful payment, Razorpay takes you straight to the download page for the volume you bought.
Press Download once and save the PDF to your device before you leave that page. The download page is for your purchase only; please do not share its address. If the download fails, write to welcome@bonojuris.com with your Razorpay payment ID and we will send you the file.
